Here’s a memory:

Had a fun two days with daughter Laurie who came from Oakland for my birthday.

After zip lining in Santa Margarita, Laurie and I dined there. I talked to three girls liked my God stories. I asked God if He would give me a message to any of the three girls I talked to.

God showed me a picture of one of the girls, and I gave it to Ivy and talked to her about trusting God with her whole life. She never had the gospel explained to her, so I explained about God having a plan for her life. She prayed with me at the restaurant and asked Jesus to cleanse and forgive her and gave Him control of her life! She was so happy to feel God’s presence and love.

She knew i would put her picture on FB and ask for prayers for her new intimacy to grow. And her middle is Grace. It was very meaningful to her as I explained the difference between works and grace.

And another memory:

Today I prayed before I left the house if I should go to my church’s’ last-Wednesday-of-the-month meeting at the Estuary, and God said to go. However, when I arrived there, I found there was no meeting because the Builders’ Meeting had been Sunday night. Didn’t I hear God, I wondered.

So I decided to purchase some favorite snacks that were sold at Trader Joes. After I made my purchases and was going towards my car, I felt I was supposed to go to Parable bookstore (where my book Officer Honey is sold) to encourage someone.

I chatted with some people but didn’t hear any word from the Lord. Wow, I missed God twice today I wondered. So I left. But two steps out the door, God gave me a prophetic word for someone in the store. I returned and gave the message and she thanked me for the encouragement and gave me a real big hug. So God DID have a purpose for me going to Arroyo! Grande!
